Week7-- Reflection and Summary

图片
This week, I am reflecting on what I have done during the past weeks. I have built the mock page, posted social media content, created advertisements, and tried email marketing. I feel that time management is the hardest part, because every step requires planning and focus. I also discover that small details, such as posting time or design consistency, can change the results a lot. This project is helping me to combine different digital tools into one strategy. I feel more confident that I can apply these skills to real business situations in the future.

Week6--Email Marketing Trial

This week, I am trying an email marketing trial . I design a promotional email that introduces a discount set of coffee and croissant. I discover that the subject line is very important, because it decides if the email will be opened or ignored. The challenge for me is writing short and effective content. Too much text makes the email less interesting. I realize that email marketing is still powerful for keeping customer loyalty. If I run a café in real life, I will use this method to send weekly promotions to customers.

Week5--Digital Advertisement Demo

This week, I am working on a digital advertisement demo . I use the AIDCA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Conviction, Action) to design the content. It is exciting to see how small design changes, like color or font, can make the advertisement look more attractive. The difficult part is identifying the right target audience, because the ad must reach the correct group to be effective. I am starting to realize how real businesses need to plan carefully before they spend money on advertisements.

Week 4-- Increasing Interaction

图片
This week, I am trying to increase interaction with the audience. I continue posting and also create a small poll on Instagram, asking if students prefer “coffee with croissant” or “coffee with strawberry roll.” It is interesting to see some students vote and engage with our page. The challenge is that the number of responses is still small, so the data is not strong enough. From this activity, I realize that audience building takes time, and interaction cannot happen without consistent content. I can see that in real cafés, these polls are a useful way to understand customer preferences.

Week 3--Posting on Social Media

图片
This week, I am making the first Instagram post for the  8AM Coffee Club . I chose the layout, the captions, and some hashtags. I notice that these small details can really affect the number of views and likes. The most exciting part is that my classmates are reacting to the post with likes and comments, which shows that our content is reaching people. At the same time, I feel it is time-consuming to prepare the pictures and captions carefully. I am starting to understand that social media management requires a lot of patience and creativity.

Week 2--Improving Page Content

图片
This week, I am focusing on improving the details of the mock page. I add the brand introduction and product descriptions, and I try to design some posters using free online tools. I find out that visuals are more powerful than I thought. A single image can explain more than long sentences. The difficult part for me is keeping a consistent style, because if the designs do not match, the whole page looks messy. I understand that in real business, content always needs to be updated and optimized.

Week 1--Starting the Mock Business Page

This week, I am starting the mock business page for the  8AM Coffee Club . My group and I are deciding on the brand name and tagline, and we are setting up the basic page layout. I feel excited because it is the first time I see my ideas turning into something real. The challenge for me is how to make the page look simple but still attractive. I begin to realize that in digital business, building a clear and appealing brand image is always the first step.
